Mayer Hawthorne is a Michigan native and packs more soul than anyone I’ve heard in the recent past. Here he is with the video for Green-Eyed Love, in which absinthe-born vixens pursue our hero. I only wish I hadn’t waited until the vinyl was sold out to fall in love with Mr. Mayer.

Mr. Ando of the Woods
This may be the best video I’ve ever seen that’s not a cat playing inside the sleeve of a jacket. Every video in the animation (アニメ) section of Takashi Taniguchi’s site is worth watching. Unlike this one they aren’t subtitled, but even if you don’t understand Japanese they’re pretty awesome.
